Kickboard

A kickboard is a buoyant aid in swimming to support the upper body. Using one can:  Increase confidence and enhance kick technique and balance. Ergonomic design encourages a more streamline position in the water, reducing back arching. The unique texture of cork brings a natural tactile sensation which reduces tension in the grip. Kickboards should always be used as a swimming aid not a bouyancy aid.

Pull Buoy

The pull buoy is a flotation device placed between a swimmer's legs to support the lower body. It helps isolate arm movements, allowing swimmers to focus on improving upper body strength. It is a very effective way to finesse arm technique. Pull bouys should be used as a part of a training programme to the swimmer does not become reliant on the additional bouyancy. Pull bouys should always be used as a swimming aid not a bouyancy aid.

FAQs

Why choose a cork swim float instead of a foam one?

Cork gives you the same buoyancy as foam but feels much nicer to use. It’s warm, naturally grippy and kind to the planet.

Can I use the floats for swimming in the sea?

Yes. Cork’s natural structure means it won’t absorb saltwater, making it ideal for sea and pool swimming.

Do people use these floats for swim groups?

Definitely. Many swim groups use them for training or confidence in the water. You can even personalise them so everyone knows which one’s theirs.

How does personalisation work?

You can add a name or short message to your float for £2. That full amount is donated to Surfers Against Sewage or The Wave Project, two charities close to my heart.

Are the floats accessible for disabled swimmers or those with mobility needs?

Yes. Cork is naturally comfortable and the designs are inclusive, perfect for hydrotherapy or adapted swim sessions. If you need something bespoke get in touch.

Do you ship outside the UK?

No, I only ship within the UK.
