What should I do if I no longer use my cork float?

Cork sequesters carbon for the whole lifecycle and the products have a very long lifespan and will work very well for decades, however if you no longer have a need for them please feel free to pass them along to another person who may need a swimming aid. We work with many organisations that support water confidence and swimming for children and disadvantaged groups. We would be glad to pass any product you return to us along to them. Alternatively you could use the cork as a natural mulch in even the smallest environment, such as a potted plant or border. Cork also has icredible insulation and sound proofing qualities so the re use opportunities are endless.........
How bouyant is cork?

Depending on some organic differences the bouyancy of cork and vary by a tiny margin. In testing the cork has shown to be equally as bouyant as foam EVA products. The difference is organic structure can feel different to the more traditional synthetic materials.
What is Agglomerated cork?

Currently our kickboards are made from agglomerated cork, which utilises the off cuts from wine bottle closures. These are ground down and re moulded into other items. All cork products have a wonderful ‘feel’ and scent, they will also have unique patterning
What is Natural cork?

Our pull bouys are made from natural cork ‘splits’, this is cork bark peeled from the tree and cut into manageable sections. All cork products have a wonderful ‘feel’ and scent, they will also have unique patterning
How should I care for my float/pull bouy

We are all guilty of not following aftercare advice for swimming products here, so we purposely tested the products rigorously without washing in clean water between uses. If you don’t mind the sand or other residue there should be no degradation. If you prefer a smoother finish or stronger grip to your product we suggest using a natural wax such as bees wax.
Can I have the product personalised?

We offer hand personalisation, you can chose what is engraved upto 25 letters and numbers. For orders abouve 5 units we can machine engrave, which will give a more defined outline. Please let us know if you are ordering more than 5 items and we can discuss your engraving needs.
